Our stay at Jaka’s place was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. The house was immaculate, one of the cleanest accommodations we’ve ever stayed in and it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. It became even more special when we learned that Jaka and his son built the entire house themselves. The craftsmanship and care truly show. Jaka personally welcomed us, gave us a full tour of the property, explained everything we needed to know, and was always just a message away. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect and even took the time to send us a wonderful list of local recommendations and places we shouldn’t miss, which made exploring Slovenia so much easier. One moment that really stood out was when we casually asked where we could buy fresh local farm eggs. About 30 minutes later, Jaka surprised us by bringing us fresh eggs himself. Such a thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Thanks to his recommendations, we also discovered a nearby local farm with a vending machine selling fresh dairy products, along with another machine that dispenses fresh milk into your own bottle or glass. It’s one of those authentic local experiences we would have completely missed without him. What impressed us even more was how much he genuinely cared about our experience. One evening, some neighbors were having a small gathering with music. Once we were inside the house, we couldn’t hear a thing thanks to how incredibly well the house is built. Even so, Jaka the following day apologized, despite it never being an issue for us. That level of thoughtfulness says everything about the kind of host he is. If you’re looking for a spotless home, authentic local experiences, and a host who truly cares about his guests, this is the place. Thank you, Jaka, for making our trip so memorable, we hope to return one day.

Het huis is kraaknet en zo goed als nieuw. De keuze van inrichting en gebruikte materialen is van het beste dat we al gezien hebben.
