Charming 2BR Garden Flat in Central London

Flat was very clean and an amazing location. Close to tube and rail and supermarket. Modern decor and private courtyard

Location is very good.

Ceiling lights of living room is out of orders.Blood statin on duvet and blanket were there. Garbage blown in by the wind had accumulated in the entrance hall on the first basement floor.

Heel mooi ruim appartement, prima keuken. Mooi licht met leuk zitje buiten. De locatie is rustig en op loopafstand van een metrostation. Het bed in de grote slaapkamer is fijn.

De lattenbodem van het eenpersoonsbed zat los, waardoor dit regelmatig naar beneden viel. Dit zou gerepareerd kunnen worden. De host was alleen per mail te bereiken, dat is wat onhandig. Een telefoonnummer zou fijner zijn.

The apartment was already beautifully warm on arrival, which was great for our early January stay. Access was super easy with clear instructions and no need to go elsewhere for keys. The main bedroom is a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The other rooms are smaller, but still comfortable for the 4 of us. We also loved the beautiful courtyard. It’s a quiet location; we couldn't hear the neighbors above us, just the occasional passerby, a few cars went by during the night but nothing terrible. The location is excellent—Russell Square station is just a block away, King's Cross station is an easy 10-minute walk, and having a Waitrose and shopping arcade literally 50 meters away was incredibly convenient. Clean, well appointed with heated towel rails, dishwasher/dryer, microwave, hydronic heater radiators in every room etc.

Only very, very minor items - the sofa bed had a 4-5 cm height difference between the sections when laid flat though it was still okay. The coffee machine also takes a special nespresso pod which unless we were mistaken needed to be bought direct from Nespresso, so we just had instant. The main bedroom had shutters, but they only went 3/4 of the way up the window so even with curtains (which also didn't cover the whole window) it meant the room wasn't as dark as we would normally like it. None of these were major issues for us, just noting them. We still loved the place and it deserves a 10.
