Tegale Ubud Home

Very comfortable and private. Bed was so comfortable and loved the pool. Nice little kitchen and spacious bathroom. Nice clean little property. Close to central Ubud and local shops and restaurants.

This is a nice private place with good quality amenities. I liked the spacious good lighted bathroom with new toilet, bathtub, sink and shower. It has a lot of windows that covered from outsiders eye though. The room itself has huge glass walls with different levels of adjustable covering. The host was very nice in communication and checked us in a couple of hours earlier which was very pleasant. Also there is the infamous restaurant with huge curvy statues very close to the place.

Roosters sings at 4am :) Address on booking was 300m away. And it’s not found by booking title “Tegale Ubud Home” on google map or grab. The correct name is “Tegale Gallery”.

If you’re looking for a peaceful homestay in Ubud just a few minutes from the city centre—with lush green views, a private pool, and a beautiful terrace—this is the perfect place. The entire stay felt artistic and unique, as the owner himself is an artist and the house is located right above his gallery. He is incredibly kind and helpful. He was always available, offered his scooter for rent, and even went above and beyond when we accidentally left our camera behind. He immediately called us, drove all the way to return it, and handed it over with a smile. He also gifted us a beautiful “Blessing Hand” artwork when we were checking out. His warm welcome, along with helping us carry our luggage upstairs, truly made us feel like family. After two tiring days of activities—water sports, ATV, and river rafting—this homestay was exactly what we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere helped us recharge completely. If I ever visit Ubud again, I will definitely stay here or at least try to meet the owner and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

De eigenaar is heel erg aardig en super behulpzaam. Deze nieuwe villa gebouwd met natuurlijke materialen ligt verstopt aan een prachtige straat met heel veel groen, vlak naast een prachtige restaurant Taman Dedari. Mooie supermarkt met veel verse fruit op loopafstand. Mooie grote kamer met grote badkamer en alles super schoon. Heerlijke tuin met verandah en eigen zwembad. Je verblijf tussen de locals waardoor je het gevoel hebt in je eigen huis te zinnen.
