Nice place for a private relaxable stay

This is a nice private place with good quality amenities. I liked the spacious good lighted bathroom with new toilet, bathtub, sink and shower. It has a lot of windows that covered from outsiders eye though. The room itself has huge glass walls with different levels of adjustable covering. The host was very nice in communication and checked us in a couple of hours earlier which was very pleasant. Also there is the infamous restaurant with huge curvy statues very close to the place.

Roosters sings at 4am :) Address on booking was 300m away. And it’s not found by booking title “Tegale Ubud Home” on google map or grab. The correct name is “Tegale Gallery”.

Nice Home Stay

If you’re looking for a peaceful homestay in Ubud just a few minutes from the city centre—with lush green views, a private pool, and a beautiful terrace—this is the perfect place. The entire stay felt artistic and unique, as the owner himself is an artist and the house is located right above his gallery. He is incredibly kind and helpful. He was always available, offered his scooter for rent, and even went above and beyond when we accidentally left our camera behind. He immediately called us, drove all the way to return it, and handed it over with a smile. He also gifted us a beautiful “Blessing Hand” artwork when we were checking out. His warm welcome, along with helping us carry our luggage upstairs, truly made us feel like family. After two tiring days of activities—water sports, ATV, and river rafting—this homestay was exactly what we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere helped us recharge completely. If I ever visit Ubud again, I will definitely stay here or at least try to meet the owner and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Exceptional stay – a true hidden gem in Ubud!

I stayed here for two and a half weeks, and honestly, it was perfect. The house is absolutely amazing — located on the first floor above a beautiful gallery, surrounded by nature with no neighbors around. You get an incredible sense of freedom and privacy. The house itself is beautifully designed and clearly built with love and attention to detail. Everything feels new, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a private pool, a well-equipped kitchen, a super comfortable bed, and big windows on all sides with great curtains that block out all light — I’ve been sleeping incredibly well here! The bathroom is spacious and modern, and the whole place just feels calm and refreshing. I’ve been living in Bali for over six months and stayed in more than seven different places around Ubud — and this is by far my favorite. The location is ideal: peaceful and green, yet still close enough to the city center. Arta, the host, is truly outstanding. Always available, friendly, and eager to help. When my scooter broke, he helped me get it repaired, even offered me his own scooter for free while mine was being fixed, and wanted to treat me to breakfast as well. The internet is very fast, the air conditioning is brand new, and overall the value you get here is unbeatable. If you can still find this place at a reasonable price, don’t hesitate — it’s a hidden gem and worth every bit. I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Thank you so much, Arta!

Amazing place for a much more affoordable price comparing to the hotels nearby..

It was really clean(brand new), every detail was thought (torchlight,mosquito spray, toiletries etc), the owner was always reachable and helpfull. Very nice guy and very kind.

Ons verblijf is een heel bijzonder ervaring door een uitzonderlijk aardige en behulpzame eigenaar.

De eigenaar is heel erg aardig en super behulpzaam. Deze nieuwe villa gebouwd met natuurlijke materialen ligt verstopt aan een prachtige straat met heel veel groen, vlak naast een prachtige restaurant Taman Dedari. Mooie supermarkt met veel verse fruit op loopafstand. Mooie grote kamer met grote badkamer en alles super schoon. Heerlijke tuin met verandah en eigen zwembad. Je verblijf tussen de locals waardoor je het gevoel hebt in je eigen huis te zinnen.
