The Nest at Killara cosy and quiet

Location was amazing. Easy to access and low fragrance house. The host was responsive and helpful.

Property was cost for sure!!

Beds where super hard and I couldn’t get passed the cob webs in every room but I do hate spiders 😔

Electronic key entry. Clean house, well supplied with towels, cleaning aids, toilet paper; 4 bedrooms, sleeps max 7 (single bed in one room); stick vacuum; large fridge; 2 toilets were handy with 5 adults staying; obvious attempts to brighten up interior of what appeared to be a 60s style house

Steep drive up to house with no flat area to park and no cover; having to reverse up driveway; drive difficult and slippery to use in wet weather and water continued to flow from under house down driveway after rain stopped. Hard low beds in 2 bedrooms. Lack of bench space in (older) kitchen for food preparation; unclean hotplates (although rest of house immaculate); Multiple electrical leads draped over doorways etc to powerboards, due to low number power points. Iron provided was cheap type, new in packaging, did not heat well and ironing board provided was collapsible small one for use on a (round) table - very unsatisfactory for ironing adult clothes for a big family event
