The house was very clean and modern and Patricia the host was very friendly and welcoming. The village was authentic Portuguese and the people friendly. There is an excellent cafe nearby and a couple of shops for essentials. There is a restaurant within a short walking distance but unfortunately it was closed during our stay. A car is more or less essential and there is good parking nearby. It would be an ideal base for exploring the beautiful area of the Obidos region.
