Casa do Candeeiro

This beautiful casa is perfectly located in the very heart of Óbidos’ historic center. The rooms were extremely spacious, immaculately clean, and the casa was fully equipped with everything one could possibly need. Our host, Rodrigo, truly made the experience unforgettable. Despite our arrival well after midnight, he warmly welcomed us, showed us around the casa, and shared a wealth of valuable information about both the property and the surrounding area. He even kindly made a restaurant reservation for us and was always available whenever we needed assistance. Outstanding hospitality in every sense — we would love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Óbidos.

Rodrigo was so warm and inviting when we arrived. We arrived a few hours early and he helped us carry our luggage to, and store our luggage in, the unit while we explored Obidos. He called us when the unit was ready. When we got there he walked us through explaining how everything worked, gave us a little history of Obidos and some suggestions for things to do in the area. It was like staying with family!! Obidos is so charming and the property fits under that description as well. I would highly recommend this property.
