The Loft by Smoke House - Central Stay - Stairs Access

Being met by the very welcoming Mandela made my stay feel like home. No pressure to eat in The Smoke House restaurant but it is very good (and I got a 10% discount). The view from the room is gorgeous, over the sea, with a bit of local culture in the road just below. I wasn't really around much to use the balcony, but with more time, those loungers look great. A 10 mins walk to the marina for tour departures, but slightly away from the more noisy main part (only slightly) The bed was very comfy and a nice big walk in shower.

There are a few things I think are easy fixes, so would ask the owners to consider adding these. There are no shelves anywhere in either the bedroom or (more importantly) the bathroom. So nowhere to put toiletries, toothbrush, water etc. please put some up (even the basin has angles, so you can't balance anything and have to use the toilet as a shelf). I discovered my room didn't have a hairdryer, I asked upstairs and they found one for me. But really, that should stay in the room if it's listed as an amenity. The noises from the restaurant were mostly quiet, but you can hear chairs moving on the floor into the night and early in the morning. But ear plugs are provided, and I sort of expected a bit of restaurant noise due to the location of the rooms. Be warned, the steps to get down to the rooms are very deep (like knee height) But otherwise, I had a lovely stay and would come back

The huge pool and view to the ocean. Super central and lovely kind staff from the smoke house above.

in the morning it’s a little bit louder from 06.00am cause of the diving school in the basement. But I sleep with earplugs, wasn’t that much annoying for me.
