Contemporary City Staycation, St Julian's

The place is superb—definitely worth the price. It’s very spacious for two people, and I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, complete with white goods like a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, and coffee machine. It gave us the freedom to cook whenever we didn’t feel like eating out. Waking up to an amazing view was a big plus. The amenities were excellent—I could honestly spend my entire holiday inside the building! There are two pools and an incredible rooftop that offers panoramic 360° views of St. Julian’s. The spa access (which includes a sauna and steam rooms) is free, though it’s on a timed basis. There are also shops and arcade areas within the building, though we didn’t get around to trying them—there was already so much to do right there! The host really thought of everything: welcome drinks and snacks, washing machine and dishwasher pods, soaps, bin bags—those thoughtful little touches that make a big difference. Overall, a fantastic stay.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the location. On one hand, it’s superb—convenient access to a good grocery store and a vibrant nightlife scene. I really do love the energy of the area, but it can get quite loud at night. Thankfully, the apartment is on the 16th floor and seems to be well soundproofed, so noise wasn’t a major issue. There’s nothing I truly disliked—just a few suggestions for possible service improvement. Towels weren’t replaced during our one-week stay, which was fine since they provided us with robes. However, it would be great if they could also include separate towels for beach or spa use, so the main bath towels don’t stay damp all the time. It would also be helpful to have a proper cooking knife in addition to the bread knife, and a dustpan to go with the broom—or perhaps even a small hoover—since the apartment can get a bit dusty when the balcony doors are left open. Just small additions that could make the stay even more comfortable.

Nous avons été très étonnées de découvrir un sommier bas de gamme, non fixé, qui faisait beaucoup de bruit à chaque fois qu'on bouge dans le lit et un matelas très dur... nous avons mal dormi toute la semaine La qualité de la literie n'est clairement pas au niveau du standing de l'hôtel !
