The property had 3 large bedrooms which was ideal for our party as it gave us privacy when needed. It was nice and warm when we returned from the Xmas markets and also had parking for our vehicle.We were well greeted by the host lovely Mother, who was very friendly, although could not speak English, but that’s the same for me who couldn’t speak German. The host was easily contacted though Booking. com messaging and gave us some great clues of places to visit, We did Strasbourg, Baden Baden and Colmar which were all exceptional and this property was ideally situated for them all. Tram service into Strasbourg was easy, cheap and great for the markets. Only downfall for the property was the shower, which was over a bath and very difficult for our party to use, all of us over 70, it was easy to flood the bathroom floor, take the bath out and put in a walk in shower and this property would be exceptional. Could also do with a toaster, we used a meta griddle over the hob to toast our bread

No toaster and shower very iffy and a bit dangerous to climb in and out of the bath to get to the shower, in fact the shower itself is loos on the wall where someone has grabbed to either pull theirselves in the bath or to help get out. We actually did flood the bathroom and soaked the mats but the host kindly made sure all the mats were replaced.
