Luna Titicaca Grebe

I would like to thank Nelio and his entire family for such a wonderful experience. Everything was truly amazing! Nelio was our guide and was always willing to help with anything we needed. He organised several enjoyable activities for us, including visits to Uros, Taquile Islands, and a fishing trip on the lake. If you want to truly appreciate the beauty of Lake Titicaca and witness its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, this is a place you simply must visit.

The nights and early mornings are very cold - take warm clothes with you 😊

Our host Nelio is a very kind and hospitable person. We were shown around (20 soles each) and could eat at the site, a good meal made by his wife. The view is great, the silence breathtaking. The bed is huge and comfortable. And well prepared for the cold nights. Tip: bring enough water and snacks.

Neilo and his family were absolutely wonderful! So kind and thoughtful! I loved being able to talk with them and their three hijos :) Neilo showed me around the islands and his beautiful wife taught me how to crochet motifs ❤️ Breakfast was amazing and dinner was delicious. They prepped the food for travellers. I was so grateful to eat fresh fruit and vegetables! So very quiet and peaceful. I loved watching the ducks and other birds and their antics. I arrived in the dark and pulling up to the island in front of my warmly lit room was magical! The bed was the most comfortable, far more than my own great bed.
