3-Bedroom Blue Mountains Hideaway in Central Katoomba

Clean, warm, cosy, great location. Balcony looked great -to cold to use when we were there.

Comfortable. Communication from hosts excellent, especially considering we booked at the last minute.

The bathroom was very cold! It would have been nice to have a heater in there.

The property was clean and well maintained. The location was great as there were shops snd restaurants located just up the road, within walking distance. There was a bus stop right outside the front of the house with plenty on-street parking.

The property charged a $300 holding fee - seperate to the charges which is only released 7 days after your stay and then there’s a 2 business day wait for the bank transfer. This part was ridiculous and not really transparent. There was too much communication. I must have received 10 messages about various things like not having parties and noise and damage etc…. The house was really cold at night, fortunately they had heating which helped. They only provided 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper. There was leftover food in the fridge. There was bad water pressure and the shower was in a bath with only a shower curtain which resulted in the bathroom floor being drenched. There’s no safe parking. Only street parking. The beds were extremely soft and spongy. I struggled to sleep at night.

Great location, beautiful old style house. Great out door balcony/deck area.

It was an incredibly hot day which is out of the hosts control. Some fans would be a huge benefit and unfortunately with the heat the windows had swollen and wouldn’t open (they did when it cooled down). Kitchen had been poorly cleaned with some ants but was sorted with a quick wipe from us.
