Fiore di Langa - Residence in Monforte d'Alba

Monforte is a beautiful location and we really liked our stay in Fiore di Langa. The apartments were spacious, well equipped and brand-new. The kids had a lot of fun in the jacuzzi and the pool is big and clean - but it was already too late in the season to use it. Everything was clean and in order. This place is great for families and couples alike.

While the accomodation is really nice, there are a couple of things to consider: 1) communication via WhatsApp was always delayed (typically half a day or next day until response) and often limited to the bare minimum (even in Italian). 2) the layout of the house is a bit strange. We were pretty much alone during our stay, but if the accommodation is full (5 apartments, I believe) you will have to share the balcony or have people pass in front of your apartment quite a bit. But we went during Autumn high season and it was empty, so I doubt that it often gets very full there. 3) finally, please consider that - at least during high season - the number of restaurants in walking distance, and their availability is quite limited. The few restaurants were almost always booked or didn't even bother to pick up the phone. However, there are a lot of nice and good restaurants around, so that is not a big problem.

Top locatie!
