Stay at Plattens

The room was very comfortable with everything we could want. Clean and easy to check into with an abundance of drinks and small touches! It was a wonderful comfortable stay for a weekend. We wanted for nothing!

Our room came with two bathrooms. The one shower in the ensuite didn't work but luckily the other did so we didn't mind too much. There was a lot of noise outside during the night from people yelling, so our sleep was disturbed. This isn't the room's fault though.

We were in flat 4 and the room and bathroom is finished to a very high standard. Great touches with free water, tea, coffee and local produce etc. Linen, towels and toiletries are a very high standard The view from the window out to sea is fabulous and nice to have 2 stools to sit on and take it all in.

Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours who insisted on going out smoking every half hour until 2am in the morning letting the doors slam. The doors also have a ridiculous verbal message each time their locked/unlocked, not great given the frequency of our neighbours visits. Because the room is small and quite cramped we needed the window open and the smell then from the chip shop below was none too pleasant.
