Press Brook Park

Lovely little log cabin in a camping field. Very quiet but it was literally a few hundred yards from an event that we were attending over the weekend. Jane met us when we arrived and gave us the door and gate codes straight away so we could come and go as we pleased. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Tea, coffee facilities and a few snacks, a fridge with milk and water was provided. The bed was very comfy and the shower was lovely. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash all provided. We will visit again and hopefully we will get one of the larger cabins with the outside terrace and covered eating area.

There is nothing to not like.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was so cute, cosy, clean and unique! Location was great and they are lots of local places to eat out. We went to the Kathmandu Indian Restaurant nearby, excellent food and welcoming. We didn't book but we were accommodated straight away. Also the venue has parking. Jane at Press Brook Park is also very welcoming, polite, helpful and great communication prior and during our stay. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip to the Peak District.

The only thing I'd recommend would be to have a sign on the property gate and maybe a few hooks inside the accommodation to hang clothing on. We stayed in the Escape Cabin.

We thought it was warm and cosy

There was a slight lack of surfaces to put things on and the door thresholds between the lobby bedroom and en-suite should be a stronger colour to provide contrast when stepping over them.

Very cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location. The local pub was superb and dog friendly. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

To say didn’t like is unfair. As there was nothing negative that affected our stay. Just slight feedback… we felt if it had a tv it would have been perfect. Watching a movie in that comfy bed would have been lush.
