Sunny 2-Bed Apartment - Heart of Wimbledon - Minutes to Central London

Great location right by the tube station (District line)! The apartment is in the heart of the city, comfortable, well-equipped, and everything you need is within easy reach. The host was wonderfully kind and responsive—he reacted immediately to all of our requests and took care of everything right away, whether it was providing an extra fan or anything else we needed.

Cleanliness could have been a bit better upon arrival. Also, the noise coming from the location (and the pub nearby) might be bothersome for some guests, although its proximity can actually be a plus if you are looking to enjoy the nightlife.

The location was perfect for our trip to Wimbledon. It had everything we needed - and more! We would definitely stay here again.

The pub next door was noisy, especially on the second night. However we were so tired we still fell asleep straight away.

The location to the train station is a huge bonus. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants, etc.

It’s a quick (?) 40 minute to Piccadilly Circus so judge for yourself if the description of ‘minutes to central London is deceptive. It is located adjacent to a large pub as well as major city road. The site is noisy and any windows open you’ll be listening to music, raucous conversation at night and the smelling the kitchen grill. The beds were sub par at best and would have expected better at the price point. The pillows were substandard. On surface, it is a well appointed rental however we found the rugs stained, kitchen cupboards which stuck and not cleaned, walls which were dirty, usb lamps in the bedrooms with noting to plug them into, etc. there was one small fan for the two bedrooms which did not suffice in the London heatwave of 2026. The kitchen in extremely small (but well appointed) & there is a was machine and a clothes drying rack. We also found it odd that there is no antenna for the TV to avail ourselves of the local news. The apartment is also on the second floor, which would have been nice to know, given most folks visiting would have some luggage. It’s a hike up those stairs with a heavy suitcase.
