The location, just 20 meters from the sea, is simply breathtaking, and the massive ancestral turtles seemed to be waiting for us precisely in front of the villa (that is, in the ocean). The two rooms are well separated from one another, and the pool is perfect after the salty ocean. The staff (Juna, in our case) is highly professional and extremely attentive. We also enjoyed the two common areas — the dining room and the lounge area with sofas — in front of the villa. The distant and melodious calls to prayer before dawn reminded us that, while Bali is predominantly Hindu, the Gili Islands are Muslim. We loved this peaceful coexistence of religions, a refreshing reminder that the world still knows how to get along in some corners of the planet.

People could look in when swimming and relaxing. I think it should be more private.
