The only negative aspect was the camera on the terrace, which added no value to our stay. Its bright lights, its close proximity to where we were sitting, and the feeling that even our conversations might be monitored made it impossible to truly relax and enjoy the terrace, unfortunately.

I had a really great time at the hostel and met a lot of great people. Ayoub manages the place with a lot of dedication and Fatima makes the most delicious breakfast. Mohammed (gentleman who's also part of the blue pearl team) made sure I had an unforgettable birthday and gave me a lot of advice during my trip. I'm very grateful that I had the chance to meet them and I will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at Blue Pearl Surf House. Even though we were not in Tamraght for surfing, it still was the perfect base to explore the village, walk to the beach, and try various local restaurants. Ayoub and Mohamed were great and friendly hosts throughout, and create an amazing sense of community among all guests staying at the hostel. It was extremely kind of them when they secretly worked with another friendly guest to surprise my husband on his birthday with some late night cake and mini party that included all the other hostel guests at the time. The hostel chef, Fathima, is also a lovely local lady and made a good breakfast everyday. The hostel also provides homecooked-style tajines upon request. We loved the first one Fathima made so much we ended up requesting tajines on 2 more occasions in the days that followed. And oh, I have to mention the rooftop. Above the terrace where meals are had is another rooftop we simply couldn’t get enough of. We would just relax, enjoy snacks, watch the sunset and take in the views. Highly recommend this hostel!
