Hotel Spa Olive

The room itself was very clean, comfortable and well maintained, so we had no complaints in that regard. The other reception staff we encountered were also very kind, welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately, our experience with one particular member of staff, Belma, was quite different. She often came across as annoyed and unwelcoming, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. We had booked a total of five rooms, yet we still felt as though our requests were an inconvenience. What was particularly disappointing was that we were essentially the only guests staying at the hotel during our visit, yet we still felt on edge and as though we had to be careful about asking for anything. A hotel stay should feel relaxed and welcoming, but unfortunately that wasn’t always the case. When I asked if some changes could be made to my room, rather than trying to find a solution, I was simply told to swap rooms with my sister. I found this very strange and disappointing. As a guest, I would expect the hotel to at least try to accommodate a reasonable request rather than asking me to move to another guest’s room. The hotel is quite small, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but the overall experience would have been much better with more welcoming and accommodating customer service. It was particularly disappointing because the other reception staff were genuinely lovely. Overall, the room and cleanliness were very good, and most of the staff were kind, but the attitude of one particular member of staff unfortunately had a significant impact on our experience. Hopefully management can address this, as the hotel itself has potential and the other staff were a pleasure to deal with.

Satisfied with cleanliness eventhough just small hotel

New pool, jacuzzi, clean sauna and shower area with drink n nuts as part of the room package. Conveniently located along the highway, the other exit faces a community with kids playground n minimarts. Only down side is 15 mins walk to old town restaurants / Mostar Bridge
