Gorgeous old ryokan featuring remarkable craftsmanship, a classic garden and the staff and the okamisan are warm hearted
The in room bath was small and the house policy was to bar occupants of that room from the larger common baths
Only after discussions they allowed restricted entry. Renting the best room at highest price thus incurs a penalty
The wifi mostly didn’t work and the food was average so not a 5 star experience

Beautiful old traditional house, delicious food, friendly staff. Wonderful walk to the local temple. It was an exceptional stay.
