Super house in a beautiful area. We took a taxi to the Chikurin-in Mae bus stop and hiked up to the top of Mount Yoshino from there. We then had the most magical walk back to the house over three hours with beautiful waterfalls, deer and wildlife. This house is best taken if you have a car - we didn't. When we arrived at Yoshino station there were no taxi's and fortunately our kind hosts were so responsive even late in the evening and managed to organise transport for us.
The house is very close to the road so there is a degree of traffic noise and light pollution in the bedrooms. There are no shops or restaurants close by, so guests need to make sure they have stocked up on groceries before they arrive unless they have transport.

Near to Mt Yoshino for cherry blossoms. Very spacious and many rooms. Have all the necessary requirements!

Super convenient, wish we could stay longer, next time will bring grocery to cook good meals for us. Lawson is only five minutes away. Great location! Sauna is a wonderful surprise!
Having a second toilet on the second floor would be great.

大阪から川遊びの目的で、こちらの宿を利用しました。
チェックインまでは施設や周辺の有料駐車場があります。
河原ではBBQも可能ですし、余った食材は宿にキッチンもありますので着いてから余った食材を調理なんて事も出来ます！
食器、炊飯器、トースター、炊飯器、フライパンなどはありました。
今回は近くの焼肉屋馬酔木さんを予約し利用しました。
こちらも安くて美味しいので満足しました。
古民家で建物は古いですが、施設内は綺麗に改修されておりとても清潔感があります。
現地到着時(11時前)に清掃の方にお会いしたので挨拶をし、チェックイン前ギリギリまでしっかり清掃されていました。
(急かすような感じになり申し訳なかったです)
大人数での利用でも部屋が分かれているのでプライベートは保てるし、リビングは広いのでそちらで集まっても狭いといった事もなさそうです。
また、宿から見える星空にも感動しました。
夏の川遊びはもちろんだが、桜時期の吉野山散策や大峰・大台ヶ原の登山、サイクリングやバイクツーリングの利用でもよさそう。
今回はまだでしたが、中庭にサウナが出来ると聞きました！間に合わす残念。
星空の下の水風呂気持ちよさそう！
