About this house rental
My home is situated in a peaceful rural setting. Guests can enjoy the family room, dining room, living room, and fully equipped kitchen, with all bedrooms located on the second floor. Outside, a spacious lawn offers plenty of room for kids to play, along with a fire pit and gas grill for relaxing evenings. Surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with wildlife and nature, the area is close to lakes like Diamond Lake, historic sites, and Amish country.
I have my own quarters located next to the garage but would be available the majority of the time if needed.
The “Bonine House” a historical Underground Railroad Station is located within 3 miles of our home, as well as many other historical places nearby.
We have outside porch swings & outside chairs, and a grill.
Welcome to the Welcome Inn, hosted by Shirley living at the house in an adjoining apartment.
Tucked away down a private drive and backed by peaceful woods, this cozy, lived-in home feels just like visiting Grandma’s house. With its quiet setting, birdsong, and family-friendly charm, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Drive up the hill and around the curve.
Look for my driveway on the left.
The front yard is an open field.
A long, winding driveway will lead you straight to the house, which is visible from the road.
This is a regular family home, nothing fancy, but full of warmth and character. It has that cozy, lived-in feel, like visiting Grandma’s house, complete with antique furniture and a peaceful, quiet setting. It’s the kind of place where kids can play in the yard, and everyone can settle in and feel right at home.
