It is a short walk to the GreenWay boardwalk which meanders Florida Mangroves along Gordon River, Naples Zoo & Florida Conservancy and 10 min bike ride to the beach. Simple, light-filled, meticulously cared-for, eclectic cottage like setting, house provides free cable Wi-fi, comfort with large seating area, spacious lanai, ping-pong table, chic and cozy living/dinning space, original art, outdoor shower, dock to lounge, paddle board and all comfort. We loved the location of this house right on the canal. Veronika was very quick in her responses. Only issue we had was not having any extra toilet paper so we had to go buy some at the store. The one thing the house could use is a microwave but otherwise we loved staying here and would definitely book it again possibly next year.

I chose this home for a three week stay owing primarily to it being situated on a canal with Gulf access (for kayaking), and secondarily to its proximity to downtown (5th Ave) Naples. With respect to these two measures the property deserves five stars, however deferred maintenance with respect to overgrown foliage, underinvestment in outside decking (dock and adjacent patio excepted), and a few interior considerations left wanting and only deserving of two or three stars, the net rating I assign is 4 stars. The host stands out as responsive to requests and quick to respond.
