Le Parvis, charme atypique

The apartment has lots of character and looks just like the photos. Between the apartment and the village outside, you feel like you are living in a time gone by in an era and place you can’t quite name. This is perfect for writers and other creative types who will enjoy this entertainment of your imagination. At the same time, there is enough modern comfort that you don’t have to live the harder parts of the old world. The location in the middle of the village is perfect for exploring and going out to restaurants while always being close enough to home. It was hot in the apartment when it was over 30C outside but there were fans provided and a mosquito net on the bedroom window that made it much more bearable.

Sounds (even when you’re living fairly quietly) seem to travel a lot between the surrounding apartments. This is probably to be expected in old buildings / neighbourhoods where people live in close proximity to each other. We didn’t find this to be a problem, but some other guests did. So you might be better off avoiding this apartment if you want to make noise like watching a film or listening to music. We just recommend to bring earplugs if you want to be sure of getting enough sleep.

Le logement est situé au 2eme étage. La vue donne sur une cour intérieure. Il est très calme et assez grand pour 2 personnes et même pour 4 personnes. Il y a beaucoup de tapis ce qui est très agréable quand on aime marché pieds nus. Il y a des moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres hormis dans la cuisine et cela permet de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes sans avoir à craindre les moustiques !

L'appartement n'est pas climatisé, mais il y a 2 ventilateurs pour avoir de la fraicheur et cela a été suffisant car il est dans une ancienne maison en centre ville.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. L’endroit est charmant, dans un hôtel particulier avec cour intérieure et un superbe escalier pour arriver au Parvis. L'appartement est décoré avec goût et tout y est pour séjourner agréablement. Emmanuelle
