Quiet 1 Bed with Garden Views Near Leith & City Centre

The apartment was clean, cosy and warm. It had everything that we needed and the hosts communicated well and were very helpful.

This may be an Edinburgh thing, but this was one of the most expensive stays we have had via booking.com at around £200 per night. The location was ok in terms of access to the city, but the area was somewhat low-end. We didn’t receive an address until we had actually set off and we may have cancelled had we done a street view check a few days earlier. We were hoping for something more befitting of the description and would have expected a much nicer experience for the cost. We had to park away from the apartment as the Hibernian Football ground is at the end of the street and there was a big match on. I spent too much time worrying about my car (although it was absolutely fine in the end).

This apartment had a bright contemporary character in an older style building. We loved having access to the quiet green space outside the backdoor. Whilst away from the main town, everything was still within walking distance for us.

It was difficult for us to understand the instructions for the heating system and the buttons were no longer clear on the controller. However, as travellers from a warmer climate, we found similar difficulties throughout our stays in the UK.

We loved staying here.
