Alena's Guesthouse

Cool place no noise

Short attention

The place is clean and in a quite area. I had peaceful rest even though i had to go to work everyday. I had all i needed in my room.

The gate doesn't have an electric motor and from the parking to the gate its a steep hill. Someone has to open for you coming in and going out. I really feel for the lady who patiently opened the gate for me for 10 days even during the nights when i was knocking off late.

The room was clean..the staff members were lovely and caring

The location and the TV was not working

Nothing really the place looks old,the shower wasn’t standing on it’s own u have to hold it yourself and pour yourself with water, the place is far from the beaches and the cbd,the rules are redicilous,I mean u are on vacation coming all the way from Joburg yet they will tell you there’s a curfew from 22h00 no one gets in or out😡we had to ask them to open for us every night we went out,I’m glad the lady Abigail is such a darling she was opening for us with no trouble at all,as for sneaking around as if we teenagers nah😩I didnt like anything about that place except for the warm welcome from Abigail she’s such a good host honestly ,I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to book that place if I are looking to have fun go out without any hussles

I feel bad for the lady Abigail I’ve noticed that she’s using her hands to wash all the bedding and towels of that accommodation 🥺😭all the nasty and dirty things people leave behind she must wash it with her bare hands😢for me that’s inhumane get a washing machine for the poor lady😭😭but either way me and my sister we were really comfortable with Abigail’s hospitality
