Nankanok Resort

It's clear that this place is undergoing some changes because there's a new owner. When we arrived, he was on site and he was a lovely man who was doing his best to update the place and make it better than it was before. So I appreciated his kindness. On the day we arrived our room was double booked, so we were given a different room. The room itself was lovely but the bathroom was very rundown. When we finally moved to the room that we booked, it was super nice. So I would recommend that the hotel update all of their bathrooms so that all of them are equally as nice. The pool itself was dirty or not turned on, but they definitely ended up fixing it by the time I left. Sometimes there were no staff around so you wouldn't be sure if you could order dinner on any given night. That said, there's a restaurant across the street as well as a café -- both of which are absolutely wonderful. Overall, the place needs a little help, but it's a really charming and intimate little place. With some love, it could be super great. It's not extremely expensive, but it's also not cheap. They have a selection of mopeds, which is also really cool. They're also near many of the great places on the island. We appreciate the owner looking after us and doing what he could to make sure we had a great time!

The owner of the hotel was very helpful and arranged both a moped to hire and a taxi to pick us up on the last day. The rooms are lovely and spacious, beds are very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.
