What a truly remarkable property! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. Getting there was part of the experience itself. After leaving the main road, you follow a charming countryside drive through a farm-like setting, which builds a sense of anticipation and excitement. By the time we reached the property, we were already impressed, and it only got better from there. The property is nestled beautifully in the middle of the woods, offering a peaceful, private, and picturesque retreat. Originally a bar and winery that has been thoughtfully transformed into a vacation rental, it combines unique character with modern comfort. Every detail seems to have been carefully considered, and it's clear the hosts have put a tremendous amount of thought, care, and effort into creating an exceptional guest experience. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by how spacious, welcoming, and well-designed the home is. It feels more like a luxurious family estate than a rental property. One of the features we appreciated most was its accessibility. For families traveling with parents or in-laws, the layout is ideal. The bedrooms and attached bathrooms are all located on the ground level, eliminating the need to climb stairs. The walk-in showers provide both convenience and safety, making the property comfortable for guests of all ages. The bedrooms themselves are incredibly cozy, inviting, and beautifully maintained. The children's rooms were an absolute highlight. The arcade games brought back so many wonderful childhood memories that I probably spent almost as much time playing them as the kids did! It added a fun, nostalgic touch that made the stay even more memorable. The property is also conveniently located near a Dollar General, making it easy to pick up groceries, supplies, or anything you may have forgotten without having to travel far. As wonderful as the interior is, the true star of the property is the outdoor patio.

Surrounded by nature and serenity, it became our favorite place to spend time together. Once night falls, the beautifully strung patio lights create a magical atmosphere that transforms the entire space into something straight out of a magazine. It is elegant, cozy, and breathtaking all at once. The hosts deserve tremendous credit for how impeccably maintained the property is. Everything was spotless, organized, and in excellent condition. In many cases, vacation rentals look better in photos than they do in person, but this property was the exact opposite. The photographs were completely accurate, yet somehow the property felt even more beautiful and impressive when experienced firsthand. One of the best parts of our stay was hearing compliments from our friends throughout the trip for choosing this property. Everyone was amazed by it, and those compliments motivated me to take the time to write this review because places like this deserve recognition. We drove over three hours to get here, and without hesitation, I can say it was worth every minute of the journey. This is easily one of the best vacation properties we have ever stayed in. We only wish we had booked a longer stay so we could have fully soaked in the beauty, comfort, and tranquility of this incredible place.

We loved the outdoor patio. The swings, fire pit and plenty of seating. It was so thoughtful that we had a duraflame log for the first night. There’s plenty of room inside the house. We were a party of 8 so we didn’t have to share bathrooms so that’s always a plus. There’s 2 separate sitting areas in the living room with comfortable chairs and a very large reclining sofa. The kitchen is large with a very long table and a very large island with seating also.

One of the bedrooms didn’t have curtains or a closet that we could use. I would suggest using the lock out closet in the bunk room instead. A small tv in each room would have been nice. They’re pretty inexpensive these days. A few extra hooks in each bathroom and bedroom would be convenient. We rarely used the powder room but I did notice there isn’t a towel rack or hook in there. Please don’t take these as complaints. They’re only suggestions and when we met the owner on the first day he did ask us for suggestions.
