Overall, this property is nice, but with some issues. It has a great layout, plenty of tables/seating, privacy, & easy parking. The kitchen is big/well stocked. The owner is the best communicator of any VRBO property owner I have rented from. I did not mention these issues to him while there, because we didn’t think they could be resolved during our stay, and we didn’t want contractors at the property. Based on what I’ve seen of the owner, I expect he will address these things:1)The 2 rooms with king sized beds have walk-in showers. There is no shelving & no handholds (not even a shower door…just a curtain). Everything needs to be put on the floor (even your bar of soap) and the floor is VERY slippery. With no handholds & a slippery floor, it was treacherous & unsafe. I was in one of these bedrooms and managed to get by (with lots of caution), but the person in the other king bedroom took one shower in there & declined to use that shower again.2)The pool table is in horrible shape. Both cushions on the end rails are dislodged. The felt over these cushions is intact, but the bumper cushions beneath were out of place, and anytime a ball hit there, it would jump up in the air and rebound at an odd angle. Unfortunately, we only rent places that have pool tables, and this is our nighttime activity. This pool table was unacceptable. 3)This one's an easy fix, but one of the fan remote controls in one of the bedrooms was either broken or had a dead battery.

We rented this home for our annual family ski weekend. The home is very spacious, with large bedrooms that easily accommodated our group. It’s extremely well-equipped—we truly had everything we could have ever needed during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with quality items, which made settling in easy.The kids loved spending time playing the board games, while the teens and adults enjoyed the pool table, making for great family time. The secluded location made it feel like a peaceful getaway, yet it was still just a short drive to Wintergreen resort. Although we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space due to the cold weather, it was a very nice area that would be perfect for warmer months. The home was also conveniently located near stores, breweries, and wineries, making it an ideal destination during the warmer months.Overall, this rental was fantastic, balancing comfort, space, and convenience. The owners thoughtfully created a space that provides enjoyment for families and friend groups. We would absolutely stay here again!
