Charming Studio in the old town - UZ15

Sa situation. Sa propreté.

Appartement très petit. Dans la description, il y avait une laveuse à linge, mais en fait, on ne disait pas qu’elle était communautaire et au sous-sol. Coin cuisine très mal aménagé. Seulement une plaque à deux ronds. Aucune cuisinière, sinon un micro-ondes qui prend toute la place sur le minuscule comptoir et qui n’a pas de prise de courant… une seule prise de courant dans l’appartement pour nos propres appareils connectés et ceux de la cuisine. Aucune hotte non plus dans la cuisine, ni ventilation dans la douche. Salle de bain minuscule, sans commodité pour nos trousses de voyage. De plus, la température du frigo avait été diminuée avant notre arrivée et la glace laissée à l’intérieur avait fondu. Un unique petit linge dans la cuisine pour ramasser….Hôtel qui met beaucoup de restrictions pour le rejoindre, aucun WhatsApp ou service de messagerie. Plus enclin à nous répéter sa liste de règlements qu’à nous donner des conseils utiles à l’arrivée, comme lave-linge,récupération, suggestions boulangerie et bons restos.

Very nice studio. We had everything we needed for few nights stay. Even coffeemaker exactly as at home :) The host was very nice and responsive. We didn't have any urgent issues, just it took us some time to understand how to run the TV and he explained us it very patiently! Thank you, Dimi! The location is absolutely perfect! Very quite place in the old town, away from usual tourists paths, few minutes walk - and you reach all you want to see :) Also transport is very near to reach all remote sites like Chocolad museum, Zoo etc. Just small remark: the washing machine is in the basement, not in the apartment. Just take this in consideration. We're going to stay here again when coming to Zurich again (and we definitely will). BTW few blocks from us lived Lenin. He new what to choose ;)

The location is good able to walk to the tram and train station. The location is the reason to stay in this unit.

No air conditioning. I knew this when booking the unit however when we stayed Europe experienced a heatwave. We had 35 degree heat for 3 nights. It was unbearable. A fan is supplied but was not sufficient. The unit is very small and dated with a tiny kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has no ventilation and is also very hot. Two small windows facing each other was not enough to cool down the room. We left the front door open for the air conditioning from the foyer to enter. The place needs an air conditioner due to the ongoing changes in weather. The cost of the unit is high (Zurich is expensive ) we paid around $420 Australian $ per night. This cost should have air con and some supplies such as tea coffee sugar and shower wash etc. nothing was supplied. I would not stay here again.
