The Zen-Den - Subtle Charm & Luxury in Bryanston

Ty is a great host, he personally called to confirm my arrival time and made sure the unit was ready when I got there. I love the underfloor heating, which kept the space warm and cozy during July, right in the middle of Johannesburg’s winter. The ambient lamps added a lovely touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The host Ty was friendly and attentive, which made us feel welcome right away. The unit itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing with a lot of charm.

The wifi quality was not great. The pathway between the gate, parking area and room was not paved, which was inconvenient especially because it rained heavily that night. The carport covering allocated to us was made of mesh material and did not provide sufficient protection for our car during heavy rain. Additionally the sliding door between the living room and the bedroom was difficult to open, likely due to worn out wheels. Another small noticeable detail was the absence of a full length mirror. Adding one in the bedroom, where the small mirror currently is, would be a great improvement for guests particularly women.
