The only 2 minute things i would comment on ( BUT NOT A COMPAINT ) 1 weird not having a main light in en suite bedroom ( plenty of sidelight) 2 The patio lock is broken, the side catch is too short to catch locking system on frame And the bottom lock is broken.the pin that goes into the frame hole has broken off so when you push the lock in there is nothing going in the hole so the door just slides back A new lock would solve it straight away I locked it by removing the lock from the barrel and simply put one of the wooden baking spoons through both so the door couldn’t slide 😝

Location was fantastic. Short walk away from the centre. The view from the living/kitchen area overlooking the river was superb and so peaceful. Pity you can't enjoy sitting out on the balcony when the upstairs neighbours are out on their balcony because the balcony floor is made of wooden panks and dust, crumbs and cigarette butts from upstairs fall down in between the planks and on whoever is below. The place is bright and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped except for the toaster which wouldn't keep the toast down so you had to stand their holding it down.

I was initially told that I would be given the exact address 24 hours before arrival. I was arriving at the property at 1 in the morning and I still didn't know which address to give the taxi driver. I managed to call the property and was told the address and told to collect the key from a key box across the road tied to a bike stand. The place could do with some attention. It needs some overall maintenance. The doors leading on to the corridor swing shut with a very strong spring mechanism and we had to wedge them open with a chair. Wifi was very patchy which made working from there tricky. The TV kept losing internet signal and I couldn't even sign in to my netflix account due to the poor connection. Bed linen smelt musty as if it was left to dry indoors. The towel heaters went on and off at random times. The light fittings on the ceilings were disconnected and instead makeshift uplighters were the main source of light in the bedrooms.
