Light View

Our Etna room was amazing, well equipped and with a beautiful view of the volcano. The mattress was perfect for us (although it might feel a little too firm for some people). The shower was spacious and had great water pressure. We also really appreciated how quiet the room was in the evening. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, communications via Whatsapp was easy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

Nothing major. The pillows could have been a bit thicker (but we found an extra one in the wardrobe so that helped). Also the curtains were a bit hard to open and close.

The location is fantastic. Yes you have to climb uphill a bit and some stairs, but it’s not like other properties in Taormina where it’s 10x higher and more steps. The view of Etna on the balcony (although I came during the haziest days post-eruption). It has a smart TV and complimentary breakfast, bottle of Sicilian wine, and water from minibar. Huge space. Big closet with full body mirror. Bathroom is spacious too, with space for beauty products. There’s also a clean and modern kitchen at the common area. You get the view + not so far from the center of Taormina. Everything is walkable. The staff was friendly and sent me good recommendations even if it’s my second time in Taormina.

Nothing much. Maybe just a bit of cleaning especially the shower head. Maybe it would be nice to add a little cabinet in the big closet (but i’m just being picky). The walls are thin so you can slightly hear the other guests in the other rooms.

La pulizua

Il non poter utilizzare l’idromassaggio pur essendo nella camera che ho pagato (al momento della prenotazione c’era scritto camera queen con idromassaggio) ma la struttura mi ha comunicato che avrei dovuto avvisare in anticipo per poterla utilizzare e che ci sarebbe stato un supplemento di 50€.

Good location, lots of space.

Unfortunately, bad impressions prevail. You need to register in advance on the "check in" portal, where you have to manually enter your ID card data and additional personal data that no one else has requested. Finally, you need to insert a picture of your ID card and an additional face photo - selfie and agree to the general terms and conditions (which I did not read). The video surveillance at the facility is at the bank level. At all times, you are under at least one camera. There are 3 (three) cameras in the kitchen, two in the small hallway ... the feelings are unpleasant. The Alcantara room, which is on the second floor, has three small windows just under the ceiling. The problem is the bad air and the inability to adjust the air conditioning in a way that makes your stay comfortable. The bathroom has no window or ventilation. At night, we had the air conditioning turned off because it is directed directly at the bed and it was not possible to adjust it in a way that would make sleep comfortable. We woke up tired and sweaty. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors, the light from the hallway shines from under the door. Even the water taps are loud. The wine glasses from the buffet are plastic, opaque, deep blue. Upon departure, you are asked to read and sign a two-page GDPR form.
