Madeira Acqua Suite

This apartment felt like home away from home. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, fantastic views. Lots of storage space, great kitchen and washing facilities, super well-equipped all around. Quiet, powerful AC with remote control in every room. Private parking garage with easy access to the apartment. We also appreciated the gym & the pool and the fact that these were available to use at any time of day. The location is fantastic – there's a large supermarket just across the street, open until 10 p.m, and several restaurants close by. Buses to Funchal stop right outside, and so does bus 48, which takes you straight to Monte (the ride is quite fun, not dissimilar to a roller coaster). Formosa Beach and the beach promenade are just a few minutes away by private elevator. What isn't mentioned in the description is that the host, João, is a genuinely kind person. We appreciated the easy communication and all the helpful tips he gave us for our stay, but even more so the way he handled an unexpected problem that arose during our visit. For us and our kids, that showed a genuine interest in making sure we got the most out of our stay. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful views. Our host greeted us on arrival and provided a tour upon our arrival. This was despite our flight being delayed and resulting arrival at an unsociable hour. The host was quick to respond and offer solutions where necessary. Supermarket within 2mins walking distance.

It's a very spacious, comfortable apartment with the view of a lifetime. The staff was incredibly careful, attentive and always helped when needed. Location is also a big plus because it is close to the beach and near a supermarket. Loved staying here, highly recommend it!

Tolle Einrichtung, alles da was man braucht. Alles ist noch ganz neu. Der Ausblick ist unglaublich schön. Ein Highlight ist auch der Pool, der zum Haus gehört Die ganze Anlage wird sehr gepflegt. Jeden Tag ist jemand da, der sich um den Garten und den Pool kümmert. Der Mann, der uns alles gezeigt hat war sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Wir werden weiterempfehlen und sicher auch selbst wiederkommen.
