Cosy room and an enjoyable stay
Very comfortable bed and appealing room. Lady owner was helpfully attentive. Fruit in the room was an added bonus and much appreciated. Off-road parking
No television or radio in the room, but I managed by reading into the evening. Shower tray could be bigger to accommodate bottles, etc.

A great stay in a location very convenient for the event I came North to see.Would stay again
Room was quiet and very comfortable. No food provided but I was well aware of that (there was fruit and water provided). Lynne sent me links to information about the event I was attending and gave me good directions to find the property.
A small kettle and tea making gear would be nice.

I stayed at Phillips House for two nights when I visited Hardwick Festival. I received a lovely warm welcome and was immediately put at ease, which was wonderful after a long journey and because I was travelling solo. The room and ensuite were perfect for my needs, fruit and water in the room was a thoughtful unexpected touch. I enjoyed my hosts company and would happily stay again.
I had a comfortable and relaxing stay, there wasn't anything not to my liking.
