Fantastic apartment, had everything we needed and spotless. Staff were lovely , great customer service. we had a beautiful meal. The location is perfect .

The County is clearly a former pub converted into a restaurant, so it has a pub feel inside. The food in the evening was lovely and so was breakfast. My room was massive and came with a kitchenette and sofa.
My room wasn't in the main building but in an annex (looks like a converted pub) 3-4 mins walk away. This wasn't a problem when I stayed as it was dry, but if it had been raining wouldn't have been so good.

Very handy for a stopover off the A1(M) but no motorway noise at all. Friendly, well-run pub with a good breakfast. Comfortable room in house next door, well-equipped enough for a longer stay.

The hotel was close to the location of my work, which was very convenient.
Room was in the loft. It was stuffy and overheated. Made for an uncomfortable stay and poor sleep. I also didn't like having to pay at the property - As a business, we prefer to make our payments via booking.com so our employees have no issues on arrival.
