I really liked that the homestay is conveniently located just beside the main road, making it easy to find. The wooden house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The air conditioning works well throughout the entire house. I also appreciated the CCTV and automatic gate for added security. There’s a large parking area, a comfortable bathroom with strong water pressure, and even fragrant shampoo provided — a nice touch.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep well at night during both nights of my stay. The house is located right next to a swiftlet bird house, and the bird sounds from the speaker played non-stop throughout the night. It was very uncomfortable — I had to cover my ears with a pillow to try to sleep. The sound should really be turned off at night. And I was quite surprised by the RM100 charge for a stained towel. The mark came from hair dye, and I believe it could have been cleaned with proper washing. The towel itself was rather thin and of standard quality, not something that would reasonably cost RM100 to replace. The host explained that the new towel costs RM65 and an additional RM35 for embroidery, but in my opinion, it would have been fairer to first attempt cleaning before deciding on a replacement. If the charge truly covers the cost of a new towel, the guest should also be allowed to keep the replaced one. I hope future guests will be treated with a more considerate approach in similar situations.
