Villa Sanji By BaliSuperHost

The villa is stunning - really can't fault it. Its a newer build so everything is clean, fresh and modern. The style is gorgeous. The sunken lounge is so so comfortable and the window into the pool provided a lot of fun for the family watching from the lounge area. There is definately air conditioning in the main lounge at Aug 2026.

The only issue is the location. We stayed in Ubud to be close to all our activities but still ended up travelling 45mins - 1.5 hours each way a day. Its south of the main streets and restaurants and traffic is bad. It is quiet and the jungle outlook is perfect, but the villa isn't amongst anything really - need to catch taxis everywhere. There are also a lot of roosters which woke up half the family from 2.30am most days - not a deal breaker, but annoying for light sleepers. Its still an awesome villa which I would recommend, but just a warning on locale to prioritise whats most important to you.

Dream spot facing a jungle like natural landscape. Clean. Beautiful architecture. Amazing pool. Fantastic facility management team at Balihost, lead by Maha, who is a very kind, proactive host manager, responds to the guest’s needs quickly and effective (our young one was sick and cared to call emergency doctor and followed up afterwards), and he values his team.

This is a very private spot to spend up to a week. The only thing to consider here is that you will need transportation/taxi to go to the center of Ubud. In exchange, you get the view onto the jungle as well as its privacy and exclusiveness.
