Riverside House at Guildford

Convenient location close to rail station & the town centre, clean & comfortable room & common areas very modern bright cheerful. It felt safe as lone female to stay there due to the security & their professionalism. Well prepared room with nice shower very comfy bed & kitchen area.

Could have done with t towel and some dish liquid for the dishes and cutlery. I couldn’t operate the combi oven, grill microwave set up so relied on the hob hot plates for the minimal amount of food prep I did there.

Room was well fitted and comfortable at a great location, and I felt the price was very reasonable for what I got. When I got to talk to a human about the booking he was friendly and was as helpful as he could be given that he was in a call centre and knew very little about the building where I was staying.

The host company is subletting the room. The building reception has nothing to do with your booking, and if you call for support you'll be directed to a call centre. I received an email prompting me to message if I had any issues; I replied telling the company about a shower tap that wasn't working and received no reply. If it had deteriorated and broken completely, I have no idea what kind of help I would have received. I had a comfortable time overall, but a more nervous traveller probably wouldn't have.
