Tata Katy Banana Guesthouse

A bit of context here: upon arriving to Tata Khadija's, my partner and I were not only exhausted and ready to call it quits (thus cutting our trip through Morocco a bit shorter), but also struggling with a stubborn cold. Upon arriving, in the most discreet and respectful manner possible, Khadija simultaneously gave us enough space to wither our storm out, while going above and beyond to ensure that we were not only having a relaxing time, but a cherished one. Quickly enough, we felt less like guests, and more like family, one such family that was more than glad to just... be. A testament to her kind soul, no less, one that is felt beyond our experience. After all, Khadija is the kind of person who--in spite of having a cat allergy--feeds, day in, day out feeds a litter of 5 neighbourhood cats, who see her as one of her own. --- Although you'll be staying on the floor just above Khadija's it is possible to make things more private by closing the door to the 1st floor. The guesthouse benefits from being a few steps away from an amazing pizza place, and a bus stop that will either take you to Taghazout (surfing, etc.), as well Aourir (an excellent place to get your groceries) and beyond.

The double room--where we stayed--had very little in the way of natural light, and, at times, ventilation, as its window faced inwardly. At the end of the day, however, this was not an issue, as we could nonetheless bask in Tamraght's captivating sunlight by chilling (and sometimes dozing off) in the terrace upstairs.

I had a fantastic stay and couldn't thank the owner Tata Katy more for her warm hospitality. She made me feel at home, gave me recommendations and also help me with excursions. The place was lovely and the room was comfortable with a nice upstairs terrace where to relax. Location was really good, near the beach and local shops. I also had a wonderful relaxing and professional massage by Amina who made my stay even more special!

De kamer is zeer netjes en biedt een veilige plek in een onbekende omgeving. Er is een dakterras waar je tot rust kan komen en een klein keukentje en frigo om te koken als je wil. De locatie is niet ver van het strand en dichtbij het dorpje Aourir,Tamraght en Tghazout. Zeer goed prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!

Het is gelegen aan de drukke N1 en er zijn momenteel veel werken,het best is een taxi nemen om je voort te bewegen.
