It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The laundry was very convenient. There was coffee in the cupboard! The front deck was handy to enjoy in the late afternoon . The bus stop was nearby.
The neighborhood is a bit run down, and the front yard and entrance way are unkempt.

Nice host, nice place. Easy parking in the backyard. Has a fully equiped kitchen and we loved having spices and oil available for cooking. You can get to the center with bus 800 directly every ten minutes and more (after Montreal city with almost no running busses, we appreciated even more). It was fun hanging our clothes outside on the famous clotheslines (there is a dryer, but who needs that in a heat wave?). Nice places to eat nearby/walking distance.
The first night there was a construction on the street and the fire works of the city that kept us awake but in the other nights it was quiet :)
