Cozy Holiday Home

Conveniently located not far from the airport. Close to hiking areas. Parking available. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Host was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that we may have had.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Travelled with my 10yo son, who has autism. Our plan for a 3 day chilled break in the beautiful Faroes was somewhat disrupted by an unavoidable flight diversion to Reykjavik which entailed a late night and very early start by which time he was exhausted and me worried. But when we arrived at Cozy Holiday Home in less than 20 minutes drive from Vagar Airport everything became good. It has such a fantastic warm vibe - an old house but refitted with pine everywhere so it smells like a brand new sauna. Antique and vintage furniture and 'shabby chic' vibe throughout just make it somewhere you don't want to leave. Yet very well equipped, particularly for cooking which is important in the Faroes as you can't just pop out to McDonald's. The hosts were responsive and friendly. I've stayed in a lot of holiday let accommodations around the world but this my favourite. I'd love to come back for a longer stay.

On the Faroes, many people have a holiday home. This is one. So it has everything you could need. Not just one, but many! The beds were comfortable. The shower and hot water were just what we needed after a cold day. The washer and dryer were very handy. We enjoyed our stay, and we hope to return!
