Claire Cottage

The location was excellent. The decor was in good condition. Plenty of room for a family of four. Good shower.

The property was 11 degrees when we arrived and smelt damp. We suggest that the heating is put on before guests arrive and the property is ventilated. Parking was okay for us as we have a mini, but anyone with a large car would struggle to fit in the space. Pillows, duvets and mattress protectors were stained; they should all be replaced. The kitchen appliances were good quality, but cooking in the kitchen was practically impossible because the fire alarm went off whenever you opened the oven door even with windows open. There were also no extractor fan, which made cooking unappealing due to cooking smells and the alarm. We suggest that these issues are addressed.
