Lovely house great location

Put fire on in front room and it smelt awful ... dont think it been used in a long time ... First impressions looks really clean ... But could do with a deep clean ....

Generally good. Particularly building manager Tom who was friendly and helpful when we had issues.
Very helpful property manager (Tom) who answered our texts straightaway. Great location near sea front Comfortable and well appointed.
Recycling facilities not obvious with only one general rubbish bin and no instructions. Hot water and heating not working on first night. Turned out to be a gas supply issue which we were able to solve the next morning with instructions from building manager. Obviously this really should have been checked and fixed before we arrived. Only 5 forks (for six person apartment) but Tom sorted this very quickly when we told him. 3 of 4 wall lights in living room did not work or had no bulbs.

Disappointing
Clean and good location
The heating didn't work the entire trip and it's a very cold flat. This was disappointing travelling with 2 young children. A partial refund has been offered though as compensation.

Lovely weekend in great rental property!
Location was perfect, welcome pack was a nice touch, decor was lovely, kitchen fully equipped.
No clear instructions for central heating so cold at night/early morning, no private parking (despite being stated on Sykes Cottages email of 7/6/22), mattress too firm for us.
