Holdens Cottage

Lovely place to stay with everything very high spec and comfortable. Communication from the hosts was brilliant. No problems at all!

The bedroom is in the attic so if you’re super tall it might be a bit cramped for headroom, but otherwise a fab place! We were fine at 6ft

Really pretty and comfortable cottage right in the middle of Whitstable. Very helpful staff too. They called to give me directions when I didn’t realise it was behind the main street rather than on it.

Nothing much, although the shower was a bit wimpy.

well equipped / warm / comfy / very central / parking spot ( mind the birds in the trees and some selfish people using your spot!!)

single glazing , some early morning traffic could be heard ( the wife not me though lol )

We have just returned from a week's stay. Holdens Cottage was very well presented and the location was perfect for us to explore Whitstable. I was kept very well informed with check in and out details Towels and bedding made it all feel quite luxurious and the kitchen was very well equipped ....so many small details were thought about We had a lovely breakfast at Holdens Kitchen We have loved staying here and would definitely return!

Only 2 minor things re kitchen...the butler sink was beautiful but I felt quite nervous about washing up in it as we did break a glass , we felt like a washing up bowl would be beneficial and also for the water usage. We did also boil the kettle to wash up as the hot tap had quite low pressure and didn't get that hot . Parking was provided at the rear but directly under a tree this resulted in my car becoming absolutely covered in bird poo..now I know birds sit in trees etc but maybe a car port or screen may be worth a consideration
