Apartment Nina

We loved staying in the apartment which was beautifully clean and modern. Naturally after some beach visits we made use of the washing line available and washer in the apartment too. We found the location pleasantly easy to travel from by foot without a car, whether walking to local restauraunts or the beach, or getting buses into the old town of Dubrovnik itself. The view from the balcony was continuously evolving and we witnessed some great sunsets! Despite the warm weather the air conditioning in the main living space and fan provided for the bedroom kept us comfortably cool. We couldn't have asked for more in terms of the kitchen provisions and had all we needed to prepare breakfasts and simple meals, coffee and sugar and washing up liquid were already provided which was a nice touch. I would happily (and may) go back! We found the area quiet and there was no heavy road noise.

We had teething issues gaining access to the property in the dark of night after a late flight as instructions to gain our keys were not initially recieved. Possibly as we experienced mobile data loss upon our arrival to Dubrovnik and this information was provided through whatsapp. Felt this could have been avoidable had the information have been provided earlier with greater notice in advance of our arrival. The host Nina however was responsive quickly despite the situation. We would have welcomed an introduction by the host which we think would have felt more personal, however appreciate this may not have been considered suitable at our arrival time (8pm). Something we hadn't realised from the pictures upon booking the apartment was that the showerhead had no fixed attachment within the bathroom and so needed to be handheld. This was a minor inconvinience however worth noting for those with and washing long hair! We also found the shower temperature unpredictably intermittant (going from warm to cool). This would have to be our only real complaint with the property and I would still consider returning.

There’s a balcony and the view is great. The sofa bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The host explained everything and communication was easy

I liked everything.
