The House of Elsie Historic Bed and Breakfast

The two double beds in the room met our needs since we had four people. Good central location convenient to many wineries and a short drive from town center, Larry and Chrystal were very friendly hosts. Only saw two of their cats. I’m neutral on cats but they were friendly and a little shy. They also were not anywhere near the sleeping rooms just in the common areas. Totally fine! Both breakfasts were GREAT for the two days we stayed. Blueberry sourdough Pancakes, bacon and eggs, eggs from on property. Homemade sourdough toast served with a dozen different jam flavors also made on site. Homegrown tomatoes, blackberries, peaches from the orchard next in the yard, great tasting bread pudding made from all the above. Eggs Benedict with made in front of you hollandaise sauce. Also, hosts engaged all guests to promote friendly and interesting conversation.

The house has been beautifully brought back to life. The host is so welcoming, sharing the history of the building. There are so many beautiful antiques throughout each room. The property is situated just a short drive from wineries and Olde Town NOTL. Breakfast was wonderful! Fresh eggs, jams, home made bread and produce from the property, all beautifully cooked and presented for the guests

Beautiful house and location - enjoyed sitting out in the garden during the evening amazing, home produced breakfasts very flexible with our dietary needs - no strawberries and extra eggs for hungry boy friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect

Location was perfect - close to town and other areas of interest. Breakfasts were incredible - fresh and homemade! Hosts were helpful and friendly.

Towels could have been a little better. Other than that, house was welcoming and lovely.
