Chic 2-bedroom apartment

This set of rooms plus kitchen and bath (no traditional "living room" but the kitchen had more than enough space for dining plus communal gathering) was exactly what i was looking for. The hosts were courteous and thoughtful (I was reminded via text to move my rental car before the scheduled street cleaning!) The neighborhood was vibrant, folks were friendly and I found nearby street parking whenever I needed it. The entire space was immaculately clean and looked freshly refurbished. Electronic items worked as expected (TV in each bedroom), the shower provided plenty of hot water and each room had it's own "blow-in" air cooling/heating unit so it was easy to adjust temps to individual preferences. The bedroom I slept in was quiet and calm even though on an upper floor and faced the street. The kitchen was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, microwave and coffee maker. I am not sure if the tap water had been tested/outfitted for possible lead contamination (common in that particular area/borough) so we used bottled water for cooking and drinking. I'm sure the landlord would have told us, I just didn't think to ask. The kitchen also came well-supplied with plates, cutlery (prep knives as well as regular dinnerware service), pots with lids, pans, and baking sheets. Long story short, this was lovely place to stay and I would absolutely book it again when the next time I'm in Brooklyn!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a little more residential than being downtown, but we knew that and it was reflected in the price. That being said, it was still easy to get around using the nearby bus lines and subway lines. Being in a more residential area meant it was quieter, and we felt very safe in this area walking around. Alex was a good host, the house itself was very clean and we were very comfortable with our stay. The beds, sheets, towels were clean and comfortable enough. There was enough toilet paper, paper towels, etc in the house, and it was stocked with utensils, shampoo, soap, etc., though we didn’t need to use those. Only things to note are that this is not a contactless check-in, which is my preference. Alex will greet you at the door and do a quick tour of the place. This is strictly preference, but after a long day of travel, I prefer to just unlock the doors and unload. The other thing is that the address that is provided immediately after booking is NOT the actual Vrbo address. I was not happy upon learning that 2 weeks before our trip as we had planned our travel based on that location, but it ended up being fine for us. Just an FYI in case you were relying on being close to the CVS or particular bus line. Overall, good stay, I’d stay here again if I’m in Brooklyn, now that I know what to expect.

My stay in the city was magnificent - The place was clean and agreeable; nothing to complain about.

Spotless space in a darling neighborhood with lots of free, on-street parking. Lots to see and do nearby! We would definitely return.
