Otozuts, Hiroo Town: An “Island on Land”(Oshirabetsu)
The ocean, rivers, and mountains are all within walking distance
It feels a bit like visiting your grandparents’ house
It’s an old house that once belonged to a former kelp fisherman, and for some reason, it evokes a sense of nostalgia.
Surrounded by vast nature, with no need to worry about prying eyes,
“Today—the ocean! Today—the mountains! Today—the river!”
Should we go fishing? Or go hiking?
There are “endless” ways to enjoy yourself.
Blessed with an abundance of seafood,
you can do whatever you like every day, eat delicious food, and leisurely experience the Hokkaido lifestyle.
Long-term stays are very welcome!

A 5-bedroom, 1-living room, 1-dining room, 1-kitchen (5LDK) house + an adjacent warehouse (first floor only) + a single-story warehouse
Since this is unstaffed, we rent out the entire building and property.Please feel free to use the space as you like.
There is also a ping-pong table in the warehouse.
*Since public transportation is limited, we recommend arriving by car.Free parking (space for 5 or more cars)
*There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or convenience stores near the property, so we recommend visiting the downtown area of Hiroo Town.
*Self-check-in and check-out available
(You can use the facility without meeting anyone)
*During the winter months (December–March), due to the risk of frozen water pipes, only long-term stays are permitted.We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are flexible and will work with you, so please feel free to contact us.
*Pets are allowed in the storage area (first floor only).
As an “indoor bike parking area,”
you are welcome to store motorcycles and bicycles inside the storage unit.
“Outdoor Facilities”
There’s an outdoor shower for when you return from surfing,
a sink where you can clean the fish you’ve caught, and
a space where you can wash your car if it gets dirty on a trip.
Please feel free to use these facilities.
