The cabin was everything we expected. Situated right on the water with nice amenities. It was great that we could place the boat in the water at a ramp just up the road. And then enjoy parking it at the park. The cabin had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. The book they put together explaining everything about the cabin was great! Spoke with the owner directly he was very nice.

Has potential. The property itself is great. Cute little camp, very secluded. This was a spur stop for us before our big week trip at the beach. 2nd time at Lake Martin. We are active travelers. My 9th state in the past 20 days. I would address a few issues to really make the price point correct. It seems like no one has stayed here in a while. So loos like we were the first rental and were hopeful for a better outcome. So im deep diving into this review . It needs a good deep house keeping, not just surface. Spider webs all over the outdoor light switches, couldnt even grab them to turn lights on. But biggest issue is it reeks of pesticide, especially in the kitchen. It was very off putting cooking and eating. The smell NEVER went away. Its like soaked into the cabinet wood. 2nd issue the pull out bed had either mice or roach droppings. Then most of the pillows had insane yellow sweat stains. Id advise new pillows with slip covers. We ended up buying pillows. Also the blankets should not be kept in the trunk, they become very musty. The toliet paper left had mold all over them. So we could not use. The 2nd bed situation wasnt the easiest pulling it out and making it. Furniture is bulky to move around. With this, stay was so so..i would not say this is a toddler friendly rental. Our youngest is 6 and some hazzards for him. Especially the rocks in the water. Great for 10. My 3 kids overall had a good time. They fished and swam. We hiked. Enjoyed 2 local restaurants.
