Great communication, poor execution. Smelly and broken apartment

The staff was very friendly and offered us an additional apartment when we complained that this wasn't what we rented. The position of the apartment is extremely central, and the proprietary offered us a 20% discount in the nearby restaurant.

We rented two apartments, because we were a bigger group, but there was confusion with previous tenants who extended their stay and we were offered another bigger apartment as a replacement. The problem was that instead of three full beds, we got two beds and a sofa, so the property owner offered us another small studio apartment, which was great of him. The problem was that this bug apartment had several problems: first of all there was a strong stench in the bathroom, coming from canalization and it only got worse during our stay. Some of the amenities didn't work properly, iron was broken, in order to get the password for the internet we had to open a junction box, and beddings were not adapted for the beds in the rooms (were smaller). Moreover, there were some visible stains on the sofa and the beds. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, so we didn't use it at all. In the rooms there were lamps that served purely for decoration as there were no power outlets nearby. In order to charge the phone, I had to unplug the TV. The heating in one of the bedrooms was malfunctioning, and over three days the temperature dropped to 14 degrees. Overall, for 400+ euros we were expecting much more.

The location is great, it’s easy to reach different parts of the city even on foot. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was cleaned before our stay.

However, the communication was a bit complicated. I had to request additional check-in information and received it quite late. The apartment I got was also completely different from the one shown in the photos. It was okay overall, but quite cold, as there are only two AC units meant to provide heating, which doesn’t work well in colder weather.

Great room at decent price.. A modern renovated room in a vintage building with a vintage lift.

The room was recently renovated and was cosy. AC was good and Bed was all right too. It was a good room to sleep in.

I was not sent any instructions to check in. The building was unclear which one is it. However, upon calling host, it took him 20-30 mins to send me the code to collect keys etc. Then he (may be) tried to scam me by telling me that booking.com payment was cancelled and I have to pay in cash. I had all the receipts, I told him the booking is all paid upfront and confirmed, then he replied that okay and leave the city tax in cash, which I did, no problems. So I am not sure of his intentions, its just the communication wasn't the best. I did not know that how I am gonna get in the room. So that did not leave a good impression. Also, there are no building picture, its a very shabby building, room has no noise proofing, the couple next room was fighting and it was a pain to sleep on one of the days. The lift is very old school, you close the cage door to make it work. The room was good and renovated, but the building and lift is not for faint hearted lol. I am only writing this in here so that if you book, you gotta keep that in mind. But overall room it is okay room to sleep in and AC is amazing, dont get me wrong, its not a complain. It is worth the decent price. One last thing, the building has no pool, there is a wellness spa and pool center in the front of the building, which cost extra, but that is standard in all of serbian apartments.

Bilo je stresno jer nismo dobili instrukcije za smeštaj. Na dan ulaska u smeštaj nije stizalo nikakvo obaveštenje. Uspele smo da dobijemo vlasnika na mobilini telefon ležarerno nam je objasno da je na aerodromu i da će se javiti za četiri sata. Nastavila sam sms komunikaciju uz napetost da li ću uopšte ući u smeštaj. Dobili smo instrukcije ali sa objašnjenjem da idemo na drugu adresu za koju nismo napravili rezervaciju. Smeštaj nije odgovarao opisu i slikama sa sajta.

In bagno mancava la carta igienica e gli asciugamani erano sporchi. L’host non ha risposto per due settimane e il giorno del check in non si é fatto vivo finchè non ho chiamato l’assistenza clienti di booking (7€ di chiamata). Inoltre, non é stato possibile finalizzare il pagamento in struttura come richiesto al momento della prenotazione e sono stato costretto a lasciare soldi in contanti in camera al momento del check out.

Ev sahibine ulaşamadık uzun bir süre. En sonunda o muhitte bulunan Sırp bir vatandaş bize, ev sahibine ulaşmak için yardımcı oldu. O olmasa, parasını peşin ödediğimiz apartta kalamayacaktık. Asansör çok eski, insan bozulacak diye korkuyor.

Ce logement s'est avéré être un squat de "luxe" : Adresse erronée, téléphone périmé, impossible d'accéder sans l'aide d'un tiers (proche hôtel NOBEL) puis assistance d'un riverain pour ouvrir le boitier à clé qui n'a d'ailleurs pas pu être réouvert en fin de séjour. Logement manifestement pas nettoyé après usage : lit non fait, poubelles non vidées, serviettes de toilette usagées en vrac sur le sol, rideaux effondrées, lampes défectueuses et aucune notice d'usage de certains appareils dont le climatiseur. Enfin pas de code WIFI.

Bina çok eski, asansör korkunç.Ev sahibi 4.katta asansörden inip 6.kata merdivenle çıkmam gerektiğini söyledi. Oysa ki asansör oraya da çıkıyordu. Otoparkın ücretli olduğu belirtilmedi, 2000 Sırp Dinarı otopark ücreti ödedim. Odada aydınlatma çok azdı, mutfakta musluk kırıktı. Buzdolabı aşırı küçük, yorgunluktan fark etmedim ama fotoğraflardaki gibi asla değil. Tuvalette kötü bir koku vardı. Odada sivrisinek de mevcuttu.Zaten tiksinmekten ve kaşınmaktan uyuyamadım.
